Very rare and cool early Gibson flat-top : a Gibson L-1 from 1926 !

Serial number on the neck block: 8433

The headstock has the "The Gibson straight peghead painted logo "

Original tuners in good working order, recently cleaned by our luthier

Mahogany neck with unbound, recently refretted fretboard, 12 frets clear of the body

Action is low and comfortable. No need for neck reset. Nut width : 47 mm

Spruce flat top with maple back and sides. Slightly arched back. Bound top and back.

Original fixed ebony bridge with pyramids at the ends

Original braces (bracing pattern: H)

Original small maple bridge plate

Cleated top and back crack (professionally done)

Comes with a beautiful newer HSC with purple inner lining.
