Very rare, out of this world sounding, war time (1941) slope shoulder dreadnaught, in very good condition !

Must be one of the best preserved examples still in existance

Gibson FON number with the letter G stamped on the neck block: 2680 (= the batch number in black) G 19 (= sequence number in red)

Era correct tuners

Script Gibson pearl headstock logo

Straight mahogany neck with bound Brazilian rosewood fretboard

Has had a neck reset. So action is low and comfortable

Probably had a refret , frets are in good condition

Adirondac red spruce top with honest playware

Original sunburst finish with a few touched-up spots on the top below the bridge (where a few tiny holes are filled - where previously a pick-up was installed).

High quality mahogany back & sides. There are a few small repaired cracks at the sides and back

Beautiful original fire stripe pickguard

Original 3 point batwing rosewood bridge. Saddle has plenty of space to be lowered in the future.

Comes with a newer hardshell case
