Up for sale is this cool, fairly rare and very fine sounding 14 fret, round hole Gibson L-4 from 1932 in very good condition !
It's a powerful sounding guitar with a big open tone. It's well played and it shows.
FON number on the neck block: 527
Cool script logo
Newer Martin tuners (originals in the case, see picture)
Comfortable V style mahogany neck with rosewood fretboard. Adjustable truss rod that works fine. Action is low, playability is very good.
The guitar has had a neck reset. Not sure if the guitar is refretted. Thin wire frets that could be original. They show some wear in the lower positions but are still very well playable.
Cool original dark sunburst finish on its spruce top with lots of dings and scratches but no cracks which go through the wood.
Flamed maple back and sides, no cracks
Top and back are single bound
Round sound hole with 7 ply black and white sound hole ring
Unbound pickguard which is probably a newer one.
Original RW floating bridge
Original tailpiece
Travels in a non-original vintage guitar case with lots of mojo
