Stunning vintage Gibson LG-1 from 1949 !

The guitar features a beautiful dark sunburst finish, which is typical for the 1940ies. By the looks of the top finish, this guitar has been played alot ! The guitar has that dry woody sound for which those old Gibsons are known for !

Very comfortable mahogany neck with a RW freatboard. Has had a neck reset. Comfortbale action. Excellent playability

Graceful original teardrop shaped pickguard

Adirondac spruce top, which resonates beautifully. Crackfree except for a skillfully cleated pickguard crack.

Mahogany back and sides. Has had a repair to the left side and left lower bout. This was checked by our luthier and found to be stable.

Original square rosewood bridge with pearl dot inlays

Has a piezo pickup installed.

Comes with a non original, modern hard shell guitar case in good condition and lots of MOJO !!!!
