Stunning vintage Gibson LG-1 from 1958, in sunburst finish, FON number T6128 12. The larger pointed pickguard and 20 frets are telltale marks of a post '55 model which remained unchanged until '62 when the plastic bridge was introduced.
The instrument is in beautiful original condition with some expected signs of use and weather checking in the finish.
It features mahogany back and sides, a spruce top with a nice sunburst finish, original pointed pickguard, square rosewood bridge with pearl dot inlays , comfortable mahogany neck with rosewood fretboard, 20 frets, pearl dot inlays, original tuners and creme body bindings.
