Gibson Hummingbird from 1963 in excellent condition !

The serial number is clearly visible on the back of the headstock and on the orange label inside the guitar.

On the headstock we see the beautiful pearl inlayed Gibson block logo / crown and the original single line gold Kluson tuners.

Straight mahogany neck topped with a rosewood fretboard with parallellogram inlays.

Action is low , no need for neck reset.

Frets are in very good condition.

It has the desirable wide nut (1 11/16 th inch).

Spruce top with original cherry sunburst finish. There are some nicks & dings and there is some finish checking and playware, which adds mojo to the guitar.

Cherry finished mahogany back and sides.

Beautiful original Hummingbird pickguard.

Pickguard top crack (cleated).

Original plastic bridge. Newer bridge plate.

The tone is big and resonant with a good amount of bass for which those guitars are known for !

Pre-1965 Hummmingbirds have become rare birds, especially in this condition.

Comes with non original hard shell case in excellent condition.
